Marika the Stylist

From Paris to Milan, and menswear to intimate apparel, my career has taken me through many different geographic and professional frontiers.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in fashion merchandising from the Fashion Institute of Technology. My experiences earning that degree were enriched by my studies in Italy. During my time there I enjoyed privileged access to taste-making trade and fashion shows. I also was allowed entry into luxury brand factories and had the opportunity to study the same archives that brands such as Louis Vuitton and Dior review for inspiration.

My experiences include:

• Product development for junior women’s fashion

• Sales expertise and product development in the intimate apparel industry

• Assistant buying and product development for various home categories

• Sales and styling at Bloomingdales and Saks Fifth Avenue
